What is YCB Level-4 Certification?

YCB Level-4, Yoga Master’s Course is designed for those yoga aspirants who wish to have substantial experience and deep understanding of both the practical and theoretical aspects of yoga. It is the second-highest certification level, focusing on teachers who wish to demonstrate their mastery in the field and contribute to teaching and developing the yoga community.

No such eligibility required for YCB Level-4 course. This course starts from beginner level. It covers all levels: YCB Level-2, 3 & 6.

No, anybody can enroll for this course and appear for examination of YCB Level-4.

The duration of a Level-4 course is 6 months. Once you are prepared for this, you can appear for the examination.

Yes, there is usually a written and practical examination. The written part assesses your knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and other theoretical aspects of yoga. The practical exam evaluates your ability to teach a class, perform asanas, and demonstrate your understanding of teaching methodology.

YCB Level Courses are organized by Ministry of Ayush under Indian Government whereas RYT Courses are registered under Yoga Alliance, USA.

After you have completed training, we will submit your details to YCB or You can register yourself through the official website of the Yoga Certification Board (YCB). Check the deadlines and the application process to ensure you submit the necessary documents and fees on time.

YCB certification is recognized globally. However, since it follows guidelines from the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy), which are widely respected, many international organizations and yoga centers recognize it. But we recommend you may to check the specific regulations for teaching yoga in different countries or regions.

The cost of YCB Level-4 Training is 65,000INR. Plus examination fees is 9735INR for Indians.

If you do not pass the exam, you can generally reattempt after a specified period, usually after reviewing areas of improvement suggested by the examiners. Additional coaching or preparation may be required.
